Typical Performance for LEM-200
The upper line of figures for each voltage refers to the maximum current at which the motor can run continuously at that voltage without overheating, under the following conditions:
Ventilation good, but not assisted by an external fan.
The motor is clean and will maintained.
The brush holder is adjusted to the optimum position for this load (which means that the motor must not be run at full load in the reverse direction unless it is fitted with means to move the brush holder when the direction of rotation is reversed).

48 volt maximum for applications requiring long term durability
The lower line of figures for each voltage refers to the current at which
maximum efficiency is achieved on this voltage. Ideally the motor should normally
run at about this current.
Maximum current for 5 seconds is 400 amps at any voltage. For competition
where greater current is required please consult Lmc Ltd, as certain modifications
are advisable.
For applications involving long periods of running without maintenance the normal running current should not exceed 60% of the "maximum continuous" figure for the relevant voltage. This also applies where full-load operation in both directions is needed, unless a device is fitted to move the brush holder to the optimum position in each direction
